New Beginnings

Dear Glow & Grace Community,
Welcome to the very first edition of The Glow Letter.
I'm so grateful you're here.
One practice that has become incredibly important in my own life is writing letters to myself.
Whilst I love journalling and believe it's one of the most valuable tools for reflection, I also know that not everyone has the time, capacity or desire to journal every day. Life gets busy, and sometimes our thoughts stay exactly where they are, in our heads.
For me, writing a letter at the end of each month has become a way of slowing down. It's a simple ritual that helps me pause before rushing into the next season.
The last Sunday of every month, I write one letter.
By the end of the year, I have twelve letters that tell the story of my growth—highlighting not just achievements, but the lessons, challenges, and small moments that shaped me.
In each letter, I ask myself a few simple questions.
● What am I proud of this month?
● What challenged me?
● What have I learnt?
● What goals did I set, and how did I show up for them?
● Who am I becoming?
Some months the answers feel exciting, and some months they feel ordinary.
But every letter reminds me that growth isn't measured by perfection and that it's measured by paying attention.
So I thought...
Why not invite the Glow & Grace community into this practice too? That's what The Glow Letter is.
Not my personal journal but a monthly pause.
A space to reflect together, celebrate progress, ask better questions, and intentionally step into a new month. I hope that by the end of the year, you'll have twelve moments when you choose to slow down and reconnect with yourself.
Because sometimes that's where the greatest growth begins.
With grace,

This Month's Reflection
For me, July feels like a season of new beginnings, especially with the warm weather and sunshine. Life doesn’t suddenly become easier, but sometimes we reach a point where we decide to move forward differently. For me, this month has been about saying yes to things that have lived in my heart for a long time:
● Launching Glow & Grace more intentionally.
● Sharing my mentoring.
● Building something that I genuinely believe can make a difference. Your new beginning may look completely different:
● Perhaps it's choosing yourself again.
● Applying for that opportunity.
● Rebuilding after disappointment.
● Beginning a healthier routine.
● Or simply deciding that the life you want is worth working towards.
Whatever your beginning looks like, remember - you don't have to see the whole path to take the first step.
Reflection Questions
Take ten quiet minutes this week and write honestly:
● What chapter of my life am I stepping into?
● What am I leaving behind this month?
● What am I most proud of, even if no one else noticed?
● What do I want my future self to thank me for?
● What is one area of my life where I want to grow before next month's letter?
This Month's Reflection
One lesson that stood out to me this month was the importance of showing up for the people we love.
This month I saw how quickly time goes and how work and schedules can consume our time, and I reflected on how I chose to spend my time. Friendships and relationships are some of the greatest investments we'll ever make. As I celebrated another birthday this month, I found myself reflecting on the people who reached out, celebrated with me, and reminded me how important community really is. Success means very little if we have no one to share it with.
This month, I encourage you to intentionally check in with someone you care about:
● Send the message.
● Make the phone call.
● Arrange the coffee.
Sometimes the strongest relationships are built through small, consistent acts of care.
Grace for the Month
Isaiah 43:19
"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?"
There is something comforting about knowing that new beginnings don't always arrive with certainty. Sometimes they begin quietly. One conversation. One decision. One act of courage. One step of faith. Perhaps this month God is inviting you to notice the new thing growing in your own life, even if it feels small right now.
This Month's Intention
Be faithful.
Be consistent and trust the plan, not your mood.
Remember that the life you're building is shaped more by the habits you repeat than the feelings you wait for.
This Month's Challenge
Is there something you've been putting off because you're waiting until you feel more ready?
If that feels familiar, then this month, choose one thing and the first step. It could be:
● Sending the email.
● Booking the appointment.
● Starting the course.
● Going to the gym.
● Beginning the savings pot.
● Launching the idea you've been thinking about.
Progress begins with action.
What's New at Glow & Grace?
This month marks a very special milestone.
● We have launched The Glow Letter
● The Glow & Grace Foundations 4-week Mentoring Programme is now open for enquiries.
● The Glow & Grace Podcast is coming soon.
Thank you for being here at the beginning of this journey. I hope this becomes more than a newsletter. I hope it becomes a monthly ritual that reminds you to pause, reflect, and keep becoming.
Before You Go
Take a moment to finish this sentence. This month, I am proud of...
